Zinc Range Hoods

Zinc has become an increasingly popular material over the last decade for kitchen details such as range hoods, countertops and sinks. All of our zinc projects are pure, welded zinc—we never use solder or pop rivets as the main form of joinery in our work. The color palette available from zinc patina is quite vast, covering light bluish hues all the way to grays, browns, and greens. It is very much like copper in terms of the color varieties available and in our ability to produce certain textures.

Natural Zinc

This is our Arched Sweep range hood done in a natural zinc finish with dark copper straps and rivets. This particular hood showcases nice metal contrast, which can be achieved mixing light and dark tones.

Light Antique Zinc

This Falkner kitchen hood is done in a light antique zinc finish with medium antique zinc rails and crown molding. One of the features on this hood is the double mitered seams, which give the hood extra dimension.

Light Gray Zinc

The forged steel straps on this Covolo range hood really complement the light gray zinc patina. This custom hood is a good example of bringing a subtle third metal into the mix with its brass rivet detail.

Medium Antique Zinc

Our Sierra range hood is the perfect canvas to bring out the beautiful antique zinc patina. The vertical straps show a prime example of the variance in tones, which can be achieved in this zinc patina.

Medium Gray Zinc

This Falkner kitchen hood is showcases the tones of a medium gray zinc patina. With medium gray zinc, you can expect more of a variety in tones, with more variance from light to dark.

Dark Gray Zinc

The dark gray zinc is our darkest zinc patina, providing tones from pure black to a very dark brown, depending on the time of season. In this particular Traditional Sweep range hood, zinc is contrasted with mirrored stainless steel straps.

Vintage Zinc

Our vintage zinc patina on this custom Barrel range hood has become increasingly popular. The vintage zinc can be achieved in either the antique or gray patina solutions. Custom Zinc Patina

This Single Sweep zinc range hood was done in a custom patina. It was born out of the gray patina solution and features a mottled and weathered effect on the hood body.
